Following the resignation of Councillor Sue Cowley, an election took place in Winton East on Thursday, 1st May.

Here are the results.

Winton, Moordown and Wallisdown are represented on Bournemouth Borough Council by Conservative councillors. In the May 2007 local elections they replaced the sitting Liberal Democrats in all three local wards by an overwhelming majority.
