Our Community Policeman

Stuart Witt joined Dorset police in June 2003 and at the end of his training became a police constable at Winton police station.

He started as a response officer - called by radio to incidents all over north Bournemouth. It's a demanding job and requires broad knowledge of the north Bournemouth area.

In March of 2006 he became the community beat officer for Winton with a brief to provide long term solutions for crime and community related issues.

You'll see Stuart around - on foot, in a car or on his bicycle. He spends at least part of every shift actively patrolling Winton.

He can be contacted on the Dorset police phone number 01202 222222.
