St Luke's School Traffic Calming Measures

Message from Cllr Theo Stratton:

The Council's transport department has proposed plans to build various speed bumps around the following roads in Winton: Maxwell Road, Hankinson Road, Somerley Road, Markham Road, Green Road, Luther Road, Calvin Road, Pine Road, Heron Court Road, Bingham Road, Ripon Road, Latimer Road, Abbott Road.

The following roads will also be affected: Bingham Road and Fitzharris Avenue junction will be closed, Truscott Avenue to become one way to Maxwell Road and Somerley Road, road narrowing on Ridley Road.

The following roads will have parking spaces removed via new double yellow lines and new parking restrictions: Green Road, Bingham Road, Ridley Road, Markham Road, Maxwell Road, Somerley Road, Heron Court Road, Hankinson Road, Abbott Road.

If anyone is opposed to the plans or have comments please would they contact Councillor Theo Stratton (theo.stratton@bournemouth.gov.uk) so that any evidence from residents can be presented to the Cabinet portfolio holder for Transport in an effort to ensure that local residents do not lose out on the proposals.
