Sadly, we have had to cancel our annual party in the park tonight at Pine park, due to the good old British weather!

Great news to read today that dates have been given for the Bournemouth Air Festival 2009, 20th - 23rd August 2009. I would say that this year was a taster, and as it was an outstanding success, more displays, more aircraft, more ships may be made available, subject to operational duties next year. Would be great to see more Military (NATO) and Civil Aircraft on show. Looking forward to it. Well done Bournemouth.

Surprised that it took Thurs and Fri for the jobsworths to realise that it was dangerous to allow the land trains to plough through skyward gazing people. And where were the Harriers?

Bournemouth Air Show - good event - only criticisms: everything at a bit of a distance compared with other air shows I've been to. Would like to have seen a selection of aircraft on display on the ground.

Who has visited the Bournemouth Air Festival over this weekend. What was your views on the festival itself. I personally think the whole event has been absolutely fantastic. More Bus, Bournemouth Borough Council, and all the Organizers under the lead of Mark Smith should be applauded form on high. It was sad news that the Vulcan Bomber did not attend, but safety must come first, and of course the money from donations to fix it. I am sure it will be back some other time. I feel that the success of this event, must make it a very good contender to become an annual event, with more aircraft, more ships. I would say this event was a taster so to speak to see how it would be greeted. Well done all.
